Gulf Equipment & Technology stands on the foundations laid by our founder, the late Sayed Alawi Al-Alawi, whose vision, ambition, and determination shaped not only a company, but a lasting contribution to Bahrain’s industrial and construction landscape.
From an early age, he demonstrated exceptional skill and perseverance—becoming the first individual in Bahrain capable of blasting limestone rock in the southern region of the island and supplying crushers to factories across the Kingdom. These pioneering achievements led to the establishment of Al-Alawi’s industrial operations, which grew to become one of Bahrain’s largest suppliers of limestone, aggregate, and hollow blocks.
In 1973, this vision expanded into the creation of Gulf Equipment & Technology (GET), dedicated to serving contractors, government institutions, and private industry with reliable heavy equipment and technical expertise. Today, GET continues to lead its field in Bahrain, carrying forward the principles of hard work, integrity, and service excellence that defined its founder’s life.
His journey was marked by challenge, achievement, and gratitude toward those who worked alongside him and trusted the company’s products and services throughout the years. His legacy lives on through the continued growth of GET and the Al-Alawi Group, inspiring future generations to build with purpose and pride.
